She was born March 19, 1921, in Franklin, Idaho, to Jack and Belva Lowe Kirk. She married Kenneth G. Johnson on June 5, 1941, in the Logan LDS Temple. Eva loved her family and the time she was able to spend with them. She especially loved her grandchildren and loved to see them every chance she could. She loved quilting and sewing and many other facets of homemaking. She is survived by her children, Dan (Sally) Johnson of St. George, Utah, Clair Brad (Phyllis) Johnson of Preston and Sidney Kim (Janet) Johnson of Preston; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Deffenbach, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Ena Rae Henderson of Pocatello, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; a son, Robert Johnson; two sisters, Hannah Hull and Mary Carter; and two half-brothers, Ross and Perry Gibson. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida in Preston. Friends may call from noon to 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Webb Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.webbmortuary.com.
