She married Vernal Joe Cunningham on October 6, 1936. She loved the outdoors, living in Island Park, Idaho during the summer for 15 years. She loved Saturday night dancing with soulmate, Vern. Her greatest accomplishments were raising her two children and loving her grandchildren. She worked for different companies in Ogden including Carpenter Co. and Weber State University. She was an accomplished stereographer and was famous for her canned peaches, fried chicken and fried trout. Mom never missed the Jazz games on T.V. and was their number one fan. She is survived by her two children, Sandra Favero and Steve Cunningham (Connie), nine grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Vern, brothers, Herman, Harley, Don, Alonzo Handy, s! ister, Delsa Hymas, granddaughter, Tamera Duke. Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wed., June 25, 2008 at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. West Jordan, Utah with viewings on Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. and also one hour prior to services. Published in the Salt Lake Tribune on 6/22/2008.
