Griffin passed away on Dec. 11, 2008. She was born Feb. 9, 1919, in Weston, Idaho, to Charles Eldon Kofoed & Sarah Williams Kofoed. She graduated from Weston High School and married Grant Griffin of Logan, Utah, on April 4, 1939. She was the mother of five (four daughters and one son), grandma of 15 and great-grandmother of 27 1/2. Evelyn loved to read and be in her garden or at her mountain cabin. At her request, the family held a graveside memorial service on Dec. 16, 2008, before interment at Wasatch Memorial Lawn, Salt Lake City.
