Bingham, 94, of Ogden, Utah, formerly of Newdale, died May 20, 2008, in Ogden of natural causes. He was born May 30, 1913, in Weston, Idaho, to Heber Raymond and Emma Rich Bingham. He graduated from Preston High School and attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Eastern Canada Mission from November 1931 until March 1934. He married Sarah Fitzgerald on June 22, 1936, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They served a mission together to the Minnesota St. Paul Mission and spent many years working in the Idaho Falls Temple. They made their home in Newdale where he raised potatoes and operated a dairy until he retired in 1980. Sarah died in 1991. In 1996 he married Reva Murdock Disher, and they lived in Pocatello. She died in 2004. He then moved to Ogden, where he resided until his death. He was a member of the Dairy Advisory Committee, helped form a Veterinary Association for Fremont County, was involved in the Fremont County Farm Bureau and served on the school board for the Sugar-Salem School District. He is survived by his children, DeAnn (Wright) Noel of West Point, Utah, Jean (Gary) Korth of Blackfoot, Ethel (Mark) Johnson of Draper, Utah, Raymond (Nancy) Bingham of Farmington, Utah, Reta (Tom) Luke of Teton, Warren (Joanne) Bingham of Santiquin, Utah; siblings, Carl (Joyce) Bingham and Fred (Ruth) Bingham of Weston, Vera O'Brien of Providence, Utah, Gladys (Juan) Allred of Woods Cross, Utah, Lois (Glade) Houseley of Arizona; 38 grandchildren and 79 greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by his step-children, Barbara (Robert) Oliver of Pocatello, Idaho, Deloras Johnson of Pocatello, Idaho, Bonnie (Raymond) Preston of Shelley, Idaho, and Connie (Wendom) Harlock of Denver, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, at the Newdale LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Burial will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery under the direction of Flamm Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the BYU-Idaho "Grant in Aid" fund. Checks made out to BYU-Idaho will be collected at the funeral home.
