She was born in Brigham City, Utah, to William and Mary Powelson Hubbard. She married Keith P. Bodily and was sealed in 1948 in the Logan LDS Temple. Ruth was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving two missions and many other callings. She cherished her opportunity to be productive, learn and grow in life and among other things was a dedicated genealogist whose legacy will carry on. Ruth excelled at everything she chose to do and was a very thorough, efficient and progressive person. She was a lifelong learner and also technically savvy for someone of her generation. We will all miss her disposition and indelible spirit. We take comfort in the knowledge that she is graduating this life and will continue as an inspiration for us all to follow her example to become better people and live better lives. She is survived by a sister, Edna H. Jones (Vernon); son, David K. Bodily; and grandson, Jessie, all of Salt Lake County, Utah. She has many extended family members, in-laws and friendships. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith; a brother, Wendell Hubbard; and a sister, Vera H. Hoskins. We know she wishes us all a loving and fond farewell. Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at noon at Preston North Stake Center, 310 North State Street, Preston, Idaho. Family and friends may visit from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the stake center prior to the funeral. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Idaho.
