Jacob was a loving father, son, and brother. He was preceded in death by a brother, Amos Jr., and a daughter, Katie Isabella. He is survived by his parents, Amos and Elsie Merrill; brother, Joshua J. Merrill; son, Isaiah Vernon Merrill; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was a loving and devoted friend to everyone he knew. Jacob was an Eagle Scout and a mechanical engineer. His life ended suddenly in a motorcycle accident and we will all miss him dearly. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008, at the Weston Idaho Chapel, 27 N. Center Street, Weston. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 E. 400 North, Logan, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday morning at the Weston church prior to services.
