It's never easy to lose a loved one. Just to let you know, I am part of the McGavin family, originating with Robert McGavin (1808-1891) and Janet Johnston (1808-1864). She and Robert had 8 children, all born in Scotland. They left Scotland and travelled to Utah, where they both passed away. I would love to share the Canadian Connection or the Scottish connection with any family members. Please contact me for more information.
