McQueen and Leah Smith and died on April 12, 2008 at the age of 92. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Preston, a daughter Julene, 5 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by two sisters Joan McNeel and Elsa Crookston, her sons L. Mack (Marlene),David J. (Charlene) Lynn A. (Voyle), Jay W. (Dixie), Sylvan R. (Erica), 26 grandchildren 46 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was an active member of the LDS faith, served 50 years in Primary and Relief Society nursery, faithful visiting teacher. Ruth was also a member of her ward choir for over 60 years. She was a service missionary at the Arizona Training Center in Randolph Arizona. She loved people and sharing her poetry, paintings, book marks and rugs she made with others. She was a volunteer at the Senior Center in Logan, Utah and Gilbert, Arizona. She will be buried in the Preston, Idaho cemetery. Published in The Arizona Republic on 4/15/2008.
