She was born June 11, 1920, in Schwerin, Mecklenburg, Germany, to Johannes Heinrich Wilhelm Jantzen and Clara Frieda Kapernick. Lotte married Robert D. Callis on May 28, 1955, in Ayrshire, Scotland. They retired and moved to Long Beach, Calif., where Lotte became a citizen of the United States of America. They then moved to Preston, Idaho, where they lived until Robert's death on Jan. 21, 1998. Lotte then moved to the Heritage Home where she resided until January 1, 2007, when she moved the Franklin County Transitional Care Center. Lotte is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and her parents. A short memorial service will be held Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, in Preston. Lotte's friends would like to offer a special thanks to the Heritage Home and the staffs at Franklin County Medical Center for their loving care of Lotte.
