She was born in Preston, Idaho on February 16, 1922, a daughter of Leo J. and Chloe Clayton Peterson. She was a long time resident of Preston, ID and also Ogden UT. Beth leaves behind a husband Parm Keller, three sons; Jon Buttars of Ogden; Leo Buttars of Orem; and Terry Buttars of Ogden. She has 14 grandchildren, 30 great- grandchildren, and two sisters, Wanda Dowies of Scottsdale AZ; and Jean Seamons, of Gooding ID. She is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Chloe Peterson and two sisters Mona Biggs of Preston, ID; and Leola Larsen of Ogden, UT. Beth was a person who loved Preston and always spoke highly of the wonderful people who lived there and the experiences she had while living there. She loved to sing and had a beautiful alto voice. She loved to sing in the ward choir and with various singing groups including a barbershop quartet and large community choirs. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held various callings throughout her life. Beth absolutely adored her family and was so pleased that so many were able to visit her in the hospital during the last week of her life. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 20th at 11:00 am at the Westwood Ward Chapel located at 2223 North 2000 West, Farr West, with Bishop Wynnston Wright officiating. Friends may call at the Ward Chapel on Thursday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. We invite all who knew and loved her to join with us in saying our goodbyes to her.
