She was the only child of Earl and Mary Wilkinson Perkins. She was raised and educated in Salt Lake City, until she went on vacation to Robin, Idaho. There she met her sweetheart Dail Albiston. They were married August 1, 1939, and later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on Nov. 29, 1967. They were faithful companions, until the passing of Dail in 1975. Violet had a passion for reading, history, crocheting, crossword puzzles, and most of all, the love and association with her family. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in which she served in various callings through the years. She served as a temple worker from 1998-2000, a calling which she dearly loved. She is survived by her son, Gail Brent (Kathleen) Albiston of Preston; a daughter, Loma Marley of Preston; 7 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren and 2 greatgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dail, and a great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Monday. March 31, 2008, at 12 noon in Horsley's Marsh Valley Funeral home. 570 N. Meadowview Dr., in Arimo. Friends may visit with family on Monday prior to services from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the Robin Cemetery.
