She was born Dec. 4, 1926, in Logan, Utah, the daughter of Percey William and Eulalia Welker Larsen. She married Mack Webb Alder on July 6, 1945, in the Logan Temple. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in various positions in the Primary including Primary President and nursery leader for the Preston 2nd and 6th wards. She also taught First Aid. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting and was active in the Pennies by the Inch and other fund-raising charities. She sacrificed constantly for her family. She is survived by her husband, Mack Webb Alder, Preston; two sons and two daughters, R.L. (Kathi) Alder, Boise, Idaho, JeanneAnn (Edward) Farmbrook, E. Wenatchee, Wash., M. Wayne Alder, Preston, Mary Ruth (R.C.) Hinrichs, Preston; 22 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, L. Charles (Vera) Larsen, American Fork, Utah, Ramona (Robert) Stoker, Nampa, Idaho, Larry W. (Roberta) Larsen, Rupert, Idaho, and Kathleen (Delwin) Wolfley, Nampa. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a grandson, George E. Alder. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, at 1 p.m. in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 E. 1st S., with Bishop Robert Rasmus-sen conducting. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the stake center. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
