He was born February 8, 1925, in Oilton, Oklahoma, the son of Omar R. and Julia (Utz) Fuller Means. He married Lillie Jo Schuber on Dec. 22, 1951, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Their marriage was later sealed in the Logan, Utah temple. He was a carpenter and loved to build with wood. He enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He served his country in the Navy. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Jo Means, Dayton; by a son, Kenneth Ray Means, Dayton; by a daughter, Claudine Messana, Thousand Oaks, California; by six grandchildren; and by two sisters, Lorraine Huntley, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Myrtle Valentine, Spokane, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Richard. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, April 26, 2002, in the Dayton Ward Chapel, with Bishop Alan Taylor conducting. Friends may call Thursday, April 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, Preston, and Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Dayton Cemetery.
