She was born May 28, 1927 in Clifton, Idaho, a daughter of Samuel Parley and Sarah Ann Olvie Tracy Henderson. On February 28, 1945, Lila married Douglas Jensen in the Logan LDS Temple. Douglas preceded her in death on March 23, 1988. She was reared and educated in Clifton, Idaho where she graduated from high school. She had also lived in Preston, Idaho; Hobbs, New Mexico; Saharah Village, Utah; Clearfield for 34 years, and in Hooper for the past seven months. Lila was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in Primary and Relief Society. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and traveling. Surviving are three sons and one daughter, Douglas Leon (Susian) Jensen, Hooper; Dennis Ray (Barbara) Jensen, Lisle, Illinois; Ricky Layne (Kim) Jensen, Clearfield; Diana Lyn (Clyde) Anderson, Harrisville; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Lila is also survived by two brothers and two sisters, Cleve Parley (Tyra) Henderson, Dillon, Montana; Ivan Harold (Dixie) Henderson, Sandy, Utah; Amy T. (Melvin) Corbridge, Preston, Idaho; Irva T. Randall, Ogden. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and two grandsons. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Hooper 8th Ward Chapel, 5601 South 6100 West. Friends may call at Lindquist"s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the Ward Chapel from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Lindquist"s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. email condolences to the family at: [email protected]
