She was born December 13, 1927 in Mink Creek, Idaho, the daughter of Walter Jerald and Cloteal Carver. She married Silvan Ernest Haltiner October 2, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Tremonton for the past 54 years. She loved having her family with her, fishing and camping. She was active in the church working in Mutual, Relief Society, Primary, and dancing. She was a florist also. Coila is survived by her husband of Tremonton; five children and spouses, Shelley (Randy) Grover, Petersboro, UT; Susan (Ron) Steed, South Ogden, UT; Randy Silvan Haltiner, Tremonton; Charlotte (William) Bray, Honeyville, UT; Don Lee (Patricia) Haltiner, Tremonton; 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one brother, Jerald Baird (Ivy) Carver, Clearfield. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ray B. Carver and Don B. Carver. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at 12 noon in the Tremonton 2nd Ward, 300 South Tremonton St. with Bishop David Guillot conducting. Friends may call at the ward chapel Tuesday evening, 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial, Deweyville Cemetery. Services under the direction of Webb Funeral Home, Preston, Idaho.
