Author: AMHhenley Surnames: Holland, Nance, Austin Classification: obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.idaho.counties.franklin/2187/mb.ashx Message Board Post: The Salt Lake Tribune, 11/13/17 Mary Lillie Holland 1925 ~ 2007 Our beloved mother, aunt and friend, Lillie Holland, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2007, at the age of 101.Lillie was born January 17, 1906 in Cleveland, Idaho to Augustus C. and Lovisa M. Austin Nance. On April 25, 1925, she married Ivory Homer Holland in Gilmer, TX. Their vows were later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 28, 1957. Together they had six children. Ivory passed away on July 16, 1985. Lillie was a faithful member of the LDS Church. Some of her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family, crocheting, cooking, gardening and visiting with others. She was loved by those who knew her and will be greatly missed and remembered by all. Lillie is survived by her daughter, Jean Denning, sons William (Janet) and Mace (Pat) Holland; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Lillie was preceded in death by her husband Ivory, her daughter Audrey and her son Larry. The family! would like to thank the staff members of "Our House" and Jordan Valley Hospital for the care given to Lillie. Funeral services will be held Thurs. November 15, 2007, at 11:30 a.m., at the Wilson Ward Chapel, 1960 S. 300 E., Salt Lake City, UT. Prior to the services a viewing will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Interment at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. Published in the Salt Lake Tribune on 11/13/2007.
