Treva was born June 24, 1924 in Fairview, Idaho, the third child of Oliver James Choules and Myrtle Irene Thompson. She was raised in Preston, where she and her sisters worked on the family farm. She attended school at Preston and graduated in 1942. She loved to play sports and was on the high school basketball team. This love of sports stayed with her throughout her life as she encouraged and participated with her husband, children, and grandchildren in various sporting activities. She particularly enjoyed bowling, golfing, and walking. On June 24, 1943, she married her high school sweetheart, Denton Joseph Hall, and on July 5, 1957 they were sealed to each other in the Logan Temple. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a homemaker and enjoyed making her home a haven for her six children. On Jan. 8, 1971, her husband passed away! . Treva then went to work at Baird Oil Company until she retired. Treva loved caring for the needs of her family. She especially enjoyed cooking large family meals and having her family around her. Her grandchildren always looked forward to her famous homemade dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls, and fudge. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Treva is survived by her six children, Joe Marie (Wayne) Cheney, Mike (Linda) Hall, Bob (Karen) Hall, Kathy (Kim) Ward, Donna Hall, and Roy (Martha) Hall; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Guelda Clayson, Deon Saunders, Dineen Eberhard; along with many nieces, nephews and many other loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Max Choules; and her sister, Joyce Bowles. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 26, 2007 at Relyea Funeral Chapel. Friends may call to visit with the family on Sunday, Nov. 25, from 4-5 p.m. at Relyea Funeral Chap! el. Interment will follow the services at Cloverdale Cemetery.
