She was born June 29, 1952, in Tucson, Ariz., the daughter of Wilbur Arland and Barbara Jean Williams Richey. She married James T. Ethington on Sept. 4, 1975, in the Mesa Arizona Temple. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served faithfully as Relief Society president, in the Primary, Young Women’s, and Young Adult organizations. She is survived by her husband, James, of Dayton; three daughters, Shayla (Caris) Florie, Gilbert, Ariz., Shauna (Mike) Morgan, Dayton, Shalynn Brooke Ethington, Mesa, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Tyler James Morgan, Justin Thomas Florie and Hailey Nichole Morgan; by her father, W. Arland Richey, Mesa, Ariz., and by two brothers and two sisters, Steve Richey, Robin (Daniel) Graham, Tempe, Ariz., Dawn (Ray) Schultz, Virginia, and David Richey, Tempe, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her mother. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday in the Dayton Ward Chapel with Bishop Ronald Atkinson conducting. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Webb Funeral Home and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in the Dayton Cemetery.
