Nelson, 75, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2001, in Preston, Idaho. He was born April 6, 1925, in Brigham City, Utah, the son of Arnold and Minerva Lund Nelson. He married Rosalyn Theurer on May 25, 1945, in Brigham City, Utah. He served his country in the army and merchant marines. He enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, and farming. He is survived by his wife, Rosalyn, of Preston; two sons and three daughters, Lewis (Kay) Nelson, Franklin, Idaho, Melissa (Jerry) Swain, Pocatello, Idaho, Rozanne (Roland) Hobbs, Preston, Karen Nelson, Kemmerer, Wyo., Steven “Pete” (Lora) Nelson, Preston; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and by four brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Miranda Johns. Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday at Webb Funeral Home. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary and from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Tuesday also at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Tremonton, Utah, Cemetery.
