Id Obits Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Id/FranklinObits/10276 Surname: Auger, Owen, Larsen ------------------------- The Logan Herald Journal 03-01-2001 PRESTON, Idaho — Ethel Luinna Owen Auger, 90, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, in Kaysville, Utah, at the home of her daughter, Luinna, after a short illness. She was born Oct. 4, 1910, in Glendale, Idaho, to Herbert Wells and Anna Luinna Larsen Owen. She grew up on the family farm in Glendale, and she attended schools in Glendale, Preston, and the Utah State Agricultural College. She married Howard Jensen Auger on June 7, 1934, in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 2000. She taught school in Albany and Glendale, Idaho. She was active in the LDS Church and taught classes in primary and MIA. She loved music and had been an organist for all the auxiliaries. She enjoyed needlework, quilting, and her flower garden. She was a devoted wife, mother, and an excellent homemaker. She and her husband served for over six months as temple workers in the Logan Temple. She is survived by four daughters and three sons: Luinna (Milton) Jensen, Alan (Iris) Auger, and Joan Auger, all of Kaysville, Utah; Lorraine (Ramon) Wright, Franklin, Idaho, Owen (Cleone) Auger, Portland, Ore., Mary (Alan) Bair, Byron, Wyo., James (Chris) Auger, Pocatello, Idaho; by 33 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Milton, Vincent, Clarence, Eldon; and one sister, Myrtle O. Steffen. Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday in the Preston 3rd, 7th and 10th ward chapel, 155 N. 200 West, with Bishop Steven R. Fuller conducting. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Preston Cemetery
