She was born Nov. 30, 1923, in Payson, Utah, the daughter of Franklin Sylvester and Ethel Tanner Hiatt. She married Raymond Wickham Ransbottom on Oct. 10, 1945, in the Salt Lake City, Utah, Temple. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served in numerous callings. She enjoyed gardening. She was very family oriented. She is survived by her husband, Raymond W. Ransbottom, Whitney; four sons and one daughter, Jerald R. (Wendy) Ransbottom, Pocatello; Annette (Sam) McNair, Pickerington, Ohio; Neil H. (Terri) Ransbottom, Pocatello; Bart (Kathy) Ransbottom, Preston; Jay (Franette) Ransbottom, Preston; by a son-in-law, James L. Westenschow, Ogden, Utah; 20 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and four sisters, Adella, Afton, Blanche, Betty. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Westenschow; by a sister, June Davis; and by three brothers, Randall, Faron, and Delfin Hiatt. Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, March 6, 2001, in the Whitney First Ward Chapel with Bishop Russell Durrant conducting. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Tuesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Whitney, Idaho Cemetery.
