She was born March 15, 1915, in Glen, Idaho, the daughter of Selton Jay and and Myrtle McGavin Lewis. She married Ivar Arvid Pearson on September 8, 1931, in Malad, Idaho. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by three daughters and one son, Bonnie P. Kendall, Preston, Idaho, Valene P. (LaMar) Jones, Rexburg, Idaho, A. Jay (Donna) Pearson, Pocatello, Idaho, Vicki L. (DalVon "Mick") Atkinson, Preston, Idaho; 20 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Kathleen L. Erickson, Afton, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, Barbara L. Cranney and Lou Jean Lattimer, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, March 2, 2001, in the Preston South Stake Center at noon with Bishop Paul Smart conducting. Friends may call at Webb Funeral Home, Preston, Thursday evening, March 1, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and at the stake center Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Preston Cemetery.
