She was born on Oct. 21, 1930, in Dayton, Idaho, to Gottfried Schwartz and Bleva Phillips. She attended schools in Dayton and Weston. She attended LDS Business School in Salt Lake City. She married Gerald Gutknecht on Nov. 21, 1951. They were later divorced. She married Robert C. Richardson on March 29, 1962. She worked for Richardson Insurance in Kansas City and Mikami Brothers Farms in Hermiston, Ore. She lived in Logan with her sister, Ruby, for the past four years. She is survived by her son, Robert C. Richardson Jr. of Twin Falls, Idaho; granddaughters, Pauline and Jessica of Boise; brothers, Eldon (JoAnne) of Smithfield; Alan (Mary Ann) of Rowland Heights, Calif.; sisters, Rosanne of Orem; Marilyn (Allan) Corbett of Shelley, Idaho; sister-in-law, Betty (Wayne) Schwartz of Moore, Idaho; and numerous nieces and nephews. Renee was preceded in death by her husband; infant son; parents; sister, Ruby and brother, Wayne. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2002, at 2 p.m. in the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St., Logan.
