A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 30, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Kuna Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, Ustick Chapel. Jim was born March 22, 1948, in Preston, Idaho, to Garth Spackman and Donna Hansen. He graduated from Pocatello High School in 1966, and served in the U.S. Navy until 1973. He attended Community College in Portland, Ore. He was married to Vicky Krohn in Ely, Nevada on February 14, 1990, and they moved to Kuna, Idaho in 1991. He will be missed by his wife, Vicky, and children, Virginia and Clayson; mother and stepfather, Donna and Marvin Hansen of Pocatello, Idaho; brothers, Brett, Scott, and Jeff, Russell, Dave, and Tami; nieces, Anna, Penny, Jamie, and Robin; nephews, J.P. and Christopher; and all our loving extended family. Jim was the best of friends, a beloved husband, father, big brother, uncle, and a trusted co-worker. He was a lifelong sportsman who loved Idaho's wild country, and we are all so sorry he had to leave it so soon. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Garth.
