She was born June 6, 1915, in Archer, Idaho to John William and Eliza Ann Nichols Jackson. She married LaMor Larsen Cole on July 19, 1939, in the Logan LDS Temple. Wyora was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she served and participated in all of the church auxiliaries. She was a teacher for 36 years and was instrumental in many of her students' lives. She is survived by her son, LeRoy D. (Karen) Cole, of Midvale, Utah; and two daughters, Louene Townsend, West Valley City, Utah; and Maridee (Richard) Fuller, of Cypress, Texas; eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, LaMor, a brother, John Jackson, and three sisters, Florence Swallow; Thelda Williams; and Mattie Erickson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2007, in the Winder LDS Chapel with Bishop Clendon Christensen conducting. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 East Oneida, in Preston, and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church in Winder. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
