She was born Sept. 30, 1920, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, the daughter of Joseph Wilford and Martha Ellen Bills Fowles. She married Donald Isaac Heathcote on Aug. 19, 1939, in Salt Lake City. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1979. She loved to crochet and play bingo. She spent many years living in Yucca Valley, Calif., where she loved tending her lemon trees and cactus. She managed the Apache Park Trailer Court and enjoyed taking good care of the people that lived there. She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Donald James (Aurora) Heathcote, Oxnard, Calif., Joseph Alan (Debbie) Heathcote, Oxnard, Calif., Betty Jean (Norm) Ricks, Preston; ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, by her parents and by two brothers and seven sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 14, 2002, at 11 a.m. in the Preston Third Ward Chapel, 155 N. 200 West, Preston, with Bishop D. Byron Kelley conducting. Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Lewiston Cemetery.
