Through her many years of trials, she remained opti-mistic and cheer-ful. She demon-strated the true meaning of charity, by her many kind acts of service to others. She was a blessing and an example to all who knew and loved her. She was born March 10, 1931 in Cleveland, ID to Fred H. and Mary Bodell Nielsen Andersen. She graduated from Grace High School and later attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, where she met her sweetheart, Kenten Reed. They were married June 7, 1950 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She served faithfully in her many church callings and had a strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She is survived by her husband; five daughters, Paula (Carl) Sudbury, Becky (Terry) Atkinson, Brenda (Mike) Zeller, LuAnn (Ralph) Sudbury and Michelle (Dan) Greer; 23 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Hogan; brothers, Ralph Andersen and Elden Andersen. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Rex and Lavon Andersen; and sister, Mary Iretta. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2002 at 12 noon in the Redwood Ward Chapel, 12574 South Redwood Road. Friends may call Wednesday 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East 10600 South and Thursday at the Ward 10:30-11:45 a.m. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens. A special thanks to the hospice team, especially Leni Balluf and Sandy Jensen for their friendship and care. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the National MS Society or American Cancer Society.
