Ogden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, of Alzheimer"s disease. She was born November 9, 1921 in Malad, Idaho, to Harry Lavan and Sylvia Jones Herbert. She graduated from Malad High School and trained at Budge Hospital in Logan. Herby married Nephi L. Needham on November 9, 1942 in Preston, Idaho. Surviving are her husband, Nephi, of Ogden; one son, Michael Needham (Karen) Leialoha, Hilo, Hawaii; grandsons, Michael Jr. (Kira) and Kalae Needham, both of Hilo, Hawaii; one granddaughter, Patricia S. Cervini, Washington, D.C.; and one great-grandson, Makenna. Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother, Vann, and her daughter, Lawana. The family expresses special thanks to all neighbors, friends, residents and employees of Mt. Ogden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the services and care extended to Herby and Nephi. Funeral services will be held at the graveside on Wednesday, August 28 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist"s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer"s Association Utah Chapter, 1414 East 4500 South Suite 2 Salt Lake City, Utah 84117.
