    2. The Idaho State Journal 08-05-01 OXFORD — Wiley Glen Jensen, 73, passed away Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at his home in Oxford, Franklin, Idaho. He was born Aug. 15, 1927, to Wiley and Viona Woolsey Jensen. At an early age, he learned the value of honest, hard work. This was evident throughout his life. He married his sweetheart, Loyce Faye Allen, on Dec. 3, 1950, in Rolla, Missouri. Their marriage was later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple. They had one son and one daughter who were their pride and joy. He served his country during the Korean War. He worked for Southern Union Gas Co. in New Mexico, later moving to Utah and Idaho to fulfill his dream on farming and ranching. He devoted his life to taking care of his loving wife and caring for her every need. They were inseparable until her death in 1998. He loved to work in his vegetable garden and shared the bounty of his gardening with neighbors, family and friends. He loved fishing, hunting, and his dogs. His grandchildren were the highlight of his life. He is survived by a daughter, Susan Cole, Logan, Utah; grandchildren, Jacob, Jody Lynn, Aaron, Lindsey, Angie, Ashley and Arlie; four great grandchildren; and by a brother, Frank Jensen, Phoenix, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loyce; by a son, Wiley E. Jensen; and by a sister, Marguerite Jensen Saline. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2001, in the Clifton Second Ward Chapel with Bishop Neil Fuller conducting. Friends may call Tuesday from noon until 12:45 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Oxford Idaho Cemetery. Arrangements are by Webb Funeral Home.
