Born December 25, 1928 in Preston, ID daughter of Melvin "Happy" and Lena Hauser Clayton. Raised in Preston until her family moved to California in 1942. Graduated from Mt. Diablo High School in Concord, California. She served an LDS mission to the Central Atlantic States. Married Raymond A. Webb July 17, 1951. Divorced 1961. Married Howard George Butler August 31, 1963 in Salt Lake City. An active member of the LDS church. A talented organist, she began playing the piano at age 7. She was a church organist 69 years (1938-2007). She served for several years as a Bountiful Temple worker, which gave her great joy in her later years. Not only did she serve with her music, but also as counselor and teacher in the Young Women and Primary programs. She also served as the Relief Society President and a Visiting ! Teacher. For many years, she served on the Cannon Stake Primary Board in the Music area. She worked many years for the Salt Lake City School District as a secretary. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics and traveling, and spending time with her beloved family. She will be remembered by friends and family for her spiritual beauty, her kindness, and unconditional love for others along with her many talents. Survived by her son, Mark (Kathleen) Webb, Phoenix, Arizona; her daughters, Christy (John) Pulsipher, Clifton, Virginia; Renee (Kevin) Bergeson, North Salt Lake, Utah; Marlene (Richard) Lindsey, Clearfield, Utah; her 19 precious grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Edward V. Clayton, Curtis M. Clayton, David W. Clayton; and sister, Mildred E. Cupp; a daughter, Susan E. Butler; a son, Wayne Butler; and her beloved husband, Howard G. Butler. Fun! eral services will be held on October 9, 2007, 10 a.m. at the West Bou ntiful 5th Ward, 840 North 800 West, West Bountiful, UT. A viewing will be held October 8, 2007, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah and Tuesday from 8:45-9:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services.
