She was born Aug. 3, 1923, in Eureka, Utah, the third child of Parkin Kennan and Nettie Van Noy Hayes. She married her sweetheart, John Wesley Coltrin on Aug. 18, 1939, in Moore, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple on March 7, 1947. They lived and worked in Idaho, California, and Utah and in later years wintered in Mesa, Arizona. After the death of her companion, she served several family history missions to England London South, Wisconsin Milwaukee, the Family History Library and the Joseph Smith Building in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has faithfully served in the extraction and family history library. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at the Preston South Stake Center, 55 E. 1st S., Preston. Friends may call Fri. from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E.
