Born to James D. and Ruth Curtis McGregor on September 14, 1924 in Mound Valley, ID. One of ten children, she was active in 4H in her youth. Married Myron Gerald Neuffer on March 17, 1943 in the Logan UT Temple. They were blessed with seven children, Myron David Nuffer, Memphis TN; John Gerald (Jenelle), Columbia MO; Gregory Wayne (Debbie), Memphis TN; Lewis Dale (Mary), Germany; Barbara Ruth, Grantsville UT; Peggy Hendrix (Larry), Auxvasse MO; Linda Chaston (John), Somersworth NH; and 27 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Margaret's life was her family, her church, her music and her genealogy. She diligently served many callings in her church. Margaret and Gerald served a one year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Chicago temple in 1994. In the years following they served many hours in the St. Louis Temple. She shared her talent of music at church by teaching the children first. Later she was the chorister and choir director for her local Ward. She used her ability to teach, inspire and uplift those who listened. She has spent many hours researching, documenting and sharing family genealogy. Cemeteries and Family History Libraries in the United States and Scotland were some of her favorite haunting grounds. She is survived by her husband, children; two brothers and three sisters, Harriet Williams, Salt Lake City UT; Merna Clegg, Grace ID; Reed (Odessa), Thatcher ID; Wells (LaRene), Bend OR: Barbara (Lee) Hales, Logan UT. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers and two sisters, Dora Greaves, Blanche (McMaster) Raidy; Youngs McGregor and Glen McGregor. Services will be held on Sat., Dec. 29, 1 p.m. in Preston ID at the Preston 3rd Ward, 155 N. 200 W. Funeral directors Webb Mortuary.
