Stone, 59, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born June 1, 1947 in Preston, Idaho to Glen and Marie Dursteler Stone. He grew up in Sunset, Utah and graduated from Clearfield High school in 1965. Craig served in the United States Air National Guard. He was married to Margaret Casey and they were later divorced. In September of 1979, Craig married Marlene Brooks in Elko, Nevada. Craig worked for Williams International for over 25 years. For the last five years he has trained horses and worked on the farm full-time. He was a member of the Utah Paint Horse Association, Eastern Idaho Paint Horse Association, American Paint Horse Association, and AGHA. He enjoyed farming, horse training, golf, boating and fishing. Craig is survived by his wife, Marlene; two sons, Kip Stone, Roy; Dan Brooks; two daughters, Cammie Stone, Roy; Debbie (Michael) Lopez, West Haven; two grandchildren, Casey and Brandon; his mother, Marie; and two brothers, Bob Stone, and Brent (Joann) Stone. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. Friends and family may call Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Hooper Cemetery.
