She was born August 12, 1903, at Kaysville, Utah, the daughter of John William Edward and Mary Ann Clark Barton. She was raised and educated in Kaysville, Utah. She married Edwin Parley Smith, August 15, 1928, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away April 7, 1955. She had worked for ZCMI in Salt Lake for 13 years; she had also lived in Thatcher until her husband's death when she moved to Grace where she has since resided. Lillie had worked faithfully in the LDS Church serving in all auxiliaries. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by a son, Edwin Parley Smith Jr. (Willadene), Thatcher, Idaho; a daughter, Barbara (Ray) Lloyd, Grace, Idaho, 11 grandchildren; 39 greatgrandchildren; and 10 greatgreat grandchildren. She was also preceded in death Dale two brothers, two sisters, a granddaughter, DeAnn Love, a great-granddaughter, Amber Love; and a grandson-inlaw, LaRon Kimball. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 2, at noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center with Bishop Don Yates officiating. Friends may call on Friday evening at the Sims Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday at the Grace Stake Center from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Thatcher Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Sims Funeral Home. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
