Bud loved life. His grandchildren were his special joy. He liked to go fishing and have picnics with his family. He enjoyed watching them chase each other around, or just sitting around telling stories of each others' funny moments, or just simply having them there. Bud was preceded in death by his grandson, Braxton Higgs; a brother, Larry Hollingsworth; sisters, Elda Oldham and Ada Mae Hollingsworth; and his parents, Avilda Harris and Newell Hollingsworth. Bud is survived by his wife of forty years, Linda John Hollingsworth; his children, Vylinda (Jay) Stark of Utah; Cherry (Charlie) Higgs of Idaho; Bud J. (Stacie) Hollingsworth of Idaho; grandchildren, Cierra Higgs and Christian Jay Stark; brothers, Newell Jr. Hollingsworth of California; David (Gayla) Hollingsworth of Utah; sisters, Janet (Richard) Towne of California; Darla (Steven) Hatch of Utah; Joy (Holger) Sass of Utah; and Betty Campbell of Utah. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at 1 p.m. in the Preston Third Ward Chapel, 155 N. 2nd W., Preston, with Bishop David Noyes conducting. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church.
