Rhoda was born on June 27, 1909 in Mound Valley, Idaho, to Henry Hurren and Maria Bennett Seamons. She married George McDermaid July 5, 1935 in Logan. George passed away in 1981. Rhoda was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the Relief Society and Primary organizations. Throughout her life she had resided in Garland, Tremonton, Logan and Delta. She was loved and honored by her family. She is survived by her son, Ross (Joyce) McDermaid of Delta. Also surviving are one brother, Weldon Seamons, Emmett, Idaho, and one sister, Bonnie Allen, Hyrum, Utah. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2007, in the Logan City Cemetery. There will be a viewing held prior to services at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, from 10-10:30 a.m. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com.
