She was born July 31, 1898, in Grass Valley, Oregon, the daughter of James Alonzo and Rosemond Harris Eakin. She married Orion Jensen on Nov. 12, 1919, in the Logan Temple. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1983. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and tatting. She also enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the LDS Church having served as a Sunday School teacher and as a visiting teacher for many years. She liked to read and was in literary clubs. She loved her family very much. She is survived by a son, Wilbur Orion (Virginia) Jensen, Santa Ana, Calif.; a daughter, Ondelyn (Leo) Mockli, Layton, Utah; a son-in-law, Farrell J. Bell, St. George, Utah; by 16 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, and 70 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, by two daughters, Fae Bell and Zelda Jensen, and by two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 E. 100 South, with Bishop Robert Miller conducting. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 to 11:45 a.m. at the stake center. Burial will be in the Whitney, Idaho Cemetery. Arrangements are directed by Webb Funeral Home.
