She was born Aug. 15, 1924, in Rexburg, Idaho, the daughter of Jesse P. and Sylvia Mae Parker Evans. She married Vern L. Fullmer on June 5, 1944, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She served in all the auxiliaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including Primary president. She did beautiful embroidery work on pillowcases and dish towels. She also made aprons for Relief Society and ward bazaars. She was always involved in compassionate service for the elderly, lonely and others in need. Grandma, you were always so sweet and loving. You enjoyed talking about your family, hearing about our accomplishments, and you were diligent to the end on sending everyone birthday cards. You will be missed, but we are so happy for you that you were able to go home to grandpa, Leon, Bill and Joe. Love, Your Grandchildren. She is survived by a son and four daughters, Evan (Trudy) Fullmer of Arimo, Idaho, Sandra (Rocky) DuBose of Stevensville, Mont., Sylvia (Cleve) Esplin of Preston, Alice (Paul) Sullivan of St. George, Utah, and Mary (Michael) Carr of Columbia Falls, Mont.; 48 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Seth (Shirley) Evans of Colorado and Larry (Marilyn) Evans of Boise, Idaho; and a sister-in-law, Winona Evans of Pocatello, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sons, Leon, Bill and Joe Fullmer; two grandsons, Aaron DuBose and Benjamin DuBose; a great-grandson, Caleb Fullmer; a brother, Phil Evans; and a sister, Marcelle Evans. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, in the Preston North Stake Center with President Douglas Roper of the Legacy 1st Branch conducting. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the stake center. Burial will be in the Little Butte Cemetery in Annis, Idaho. Arrangements are by Webb Funeral Home.
