She was born Sept. 9, 1912, in McCammon, Idaho, the daughter of Samuel and Idella Johnson Goodenough. She married Ted Johns on Aug. 9, 1929, in Blackfoot, Idaho. They were later divorced. She married John D. Egbert on Dec. 26, 1953, in Pocatello, Idaho. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1978. She enjoyed the outdoors camping and fishing. She also enjoyed embroidery. She loved being around her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by three sons and four daughters: LaRie (Stuart) McClure, Las Vegas, Nev., Boyd Johns, Linwood, Wash., Jean (Calvin) Munn, Pocatello, Idaho, Duane Johns, Wyoming, Sonja Okesson, Kamiah, Idaho, Butch Johns, Pocatello, Idaho, and DeLora (Michael) DeLong, Preston, Idaho; a daughter-in-law, Anita Johns, American Falls, Idaho; two stepsons, Larry Egbert, Montana, and Leonard Egbert, Santa Ana, Calif.; 33 grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; by two sisters, Mary Vertrees, Portland, Ore., and Della Rider, White Bird, Idaho; and by a niece, Susan (Sonny) Davis, Pocatello, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her husband, by a son, LaMar Johns, a daughter, Shirley Vreeland, and by a son-in-law, August Okesson. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday in the Mapleton LDS Church with Bishop Max Sharp conducting. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Webb Funeral Home and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Mapleton Cemetery.
