Porter, 72, passed away peacefully December 28, 2001 at Infinia Care Center in Ogden, where he received excellent care. He was born July 10, 1929 in Preston, Idaho to George and Laverna Porter. He was married to Sadie Lou Crandall, deceased, and married Delores George Jarman on May 27, 1966. He retired from DDO. He is survived by his wife, Delores, two sons James and Riley; three daughters Laurie, Lisa and Suelene; seven brothers, six sisters; 17 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents. A viewing will held Saturday, January 5th at 10:30 a.m. at the Mount Lewis 2nd Ward, 551 E. 900 N. in Ogden, where friends and family may call. A brief service will follow at 11:45 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Memorial Gardens Of The Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road in South Ogden. Arrangements by SereniCare, Funeral Directors.
