She was born March 9, 1914, in Preston, the daughter of Joseph W. and Rose England Winn. She married Preston (Bill) Casteel July 30, 1931, in Farmington, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He died Jan. 11, 1985. She enjoyed hard work, camping, fishing, singing, temple work and she served in the Relief Society. She is survived by two sons, Charles (Janet) Casteel, Veyo, Utah; and Robert (Sandy) Casteel, Harrison, Mont.; one daughter, Betty Mooney, Preston; 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Marvin (Julia) Winn, Ogden. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Jay Casteel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at noon at the Leavitts Chapel, 836 36th St., Ogden. Friends may call at Webb Funeral Home in Preston Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the Leavitt Chapel Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Leavitts Cemetery.
