Surnames: Kessler, Bowcut Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Eg.2ADE/395 Message Board Post: The Salt Lake Tribune, Tuesday, January 22, 2002 Elaine Bowcut Kessler beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully on January 20, 2002 at the age of 77. She endured many years of pain as a result of numerous health conditions. She was born May 24, 1924 in Franklin, Idaho to Abraham E. Bowcut and Pearl G. Bowcut. Although, she enjoyed working for many years in the accounts payable department for the Salt Lake City Suburban Sanitary District her main focus was her family. Very seldom did a day pass that was not filled with conversations to brothers and sisters, as she was always concerned about each of them and their families. She loved spending time with each of them at the monthly family outings. She enjoyed boating at Lake Powell, hunting trips to Uintah Mountains, attending musical performances and endless shopping with her sister Grace. For many years she was a caregiver to Gordon in his time of need, however as her health deteriorated she was the recipient of many years of devoted and faithful care by her loving husband. She always put her family first and was truly a very generous and caring person. She loved to be with her sons and their families, participate in school and church activit! ies and family vacations. Elaine leaves a grateful husband, family and friends with many precious memories. We are all blessed by having spent this time with you. My true love I will miss you dearly. Survived by husband of 52 years Neil G. Kessler; sons Michael G. (Suzanne) Kessler, Scott B. (Michon) Kessler Alturas, CA; grandson Adam (Natalie) Kessler; granddaughters Natalie (Morgan) Philpot, Ashley Kessler, Samie, Mckayla and Lauren Kessler Alturas, CA. She is also survived by her brother Eugene, Keith and sister, Grace Brewer. Preceded in death by brothers Ernest, Clyde, Wayne and sister Harriet Wheeler. Funeral services will be held Thursday Jan. 24, 2002, 2 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates Mortuary, 7800 So. 3115 E., where friends may call Wednesday, Jan. 23rd, from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services.
