He was born Aug. 29, 1956, in Logan, Utah, the son of proud parents, Jack and Karma Jean Rallison Garrett. Stan attended schools in Preston, Idaho, graduating from Preston High School with the class of 1974. He married his lifelong love, Teresa Ruby Young, on Nov. 5, 1982, in Jackson, Wyo., surrounded by family and friends. They were blessed with three wonderful boys, Nathan, Scott and Spencer. They were the light of his life. Stan enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and four-wheeling with his family and friends. He was employed as a relief operator with Texas Gulf since September 1976 and, most recently, FMC for the last two and a half years. Stan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his wife, Teresa, Green River; three sons, Nathan, Scott and Spencer, all of Green River; one daughter, Selena Marie and grandson, Braxton, Salt Lake City, Utah; his mother and father, Jack and Karma Garrett, Preston; two sisters: Laura Peterson and husband, Brett, Smithfield, Utah; and Bonnie Taylor and husband, Rob, Carson City, Nev.; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who adored him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one brother-in-law, Lyle Greene. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at the Green River LDS 1st Ward chapel, 1000 W. 4 North, Green River. Friends called at the chapel Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment will take place Monday, Jan. 14, 2002, at 11:30 a.m. in the Whitney Cemetery, Whitney, Idaho. The family will receive friends at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to interment at the Whitney Cemetery
