Born Nov 23, 1917, Dayton, ID to Paul L. and Caroline Godfrey Larsen. Married Thelma Sadleir, Sept 21, 1940 in Ogden, UT, later solemnized in the Logan LDS Tem-ple. Attended Preston Idaho High School and graduated from Shelley Idaho High School in 1935. Attended the University of Idaho, Utah State University, and the University of Utah where he earned his BA, MBA, and PhD. Sales manager for General Mills Inc., and later served as Professor and Director of Research at BYU, Weber State, and the U of U. Vice President of Eyring Research Institute, and Director of Research at LDS Hospital. Presented many research seminars nationally and in Canada. Post Chairman National Council of University Administrators and Education Committee of the Society of Res. Administration. Reviewed research proposals for Federal government agencies in Washington DC. Served on the Utah Blue Ribbon Energy Panel, chairman of Utah Ed. ! Res. Comm., member of many academic committees. Fulfilled Stake Missions for LDS Church, ordained temple worker at the Jordan River Temple and held many stake and ward positions including high councilman. Enjoyed national and international travel, golf, fishing, spectator sports and was an avid jogger and swimmer, and a BYU fan! Survivors: wife, Thelma, SLC; two daughters, Susan Lambert, Mrs. Keith D. (Patricia) Tintle; 10 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Services will be Tues. Jan 22, 2002, 12 noon, Cottonwood Heights 1st Ward Chapel, 7075 S. 2250 E. Friends may call Mon. 7-8:30 p.m., Mountain View Memorial Mortuary, 3115 E. 7800 S, and 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Memorial Estates Mortuary.
