She left us peacefully in her sleep. She was born in Salt Lake City March 31, 1939 to Ethel Mendenhall and Ken Kesler. She was pre-ceded in death by her mother Ethel Potts, father Ken Kesler, daughter-in-law Peggy Tin-gey, and two grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Steve Tingey; children, Shelly (Danny) Bernhardt, Bryan (Ginger) Ashdown, Gary (Debbie) Ashdown, Shane Tingey, Danielle (Gerardo) Cortez, KayDawn McCoy; stepchildren Jeff (Corrie) Tingey, Marcy (Mike) Reilly, Sandy Tingey, Billy Tingey, Coral (Carl) Vanetten; 35 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; Daddy LeRoy Potts; stepmother, Sue Kesler; brother, Harley Potts; sisters, Roydean (John) Blair, Linda (Terry) Fuller, Marlene (James) Johnston, Letha Potts; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends, and life-long best friends, Shirley McLaughlan, Carol Peterson, Marsh Freeze. She worked for Newell Window Furnishings Inc for 26 years. Growing up she spent summers in Preston, ID with Uncle Maurice Owen Aunt Leota and Burley, ID with Uncle Ray Anderson and Aunt Verletta. She will be greatly missed by all of us we love you. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 10, 2002, 11 a.m. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main St., Bountiful where friends may call Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m., and from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be at Centerville City Cemetery.
