She had been suffering from a slight stroke and congestive heart failure for a short period of time. She has been living with her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jim Baldwin, in Mesa. She was born on March 1, 1909, in Preston, Idaho, the daughter of George Lorain and Julia Perry Wilcox. She had polio when she was four years old. She graduated from Preston High School and was employed by the First Security Bank until marrying Marvin LaVern Hollingsworth on Nov. 11, 1929, in Preston, Idaho. Marge, LaVern and family lived at about 4th South and 4th West in Preston until 1943 when they moved to the Hollingsworth farm in Banida/Winder. They later moved to Preston at 192 N. 1st West in 1996. Her family consists of four sons and one daughter, Marvin (June) Hollingsworth, Mesa, Ariz.; Bill Hollingsworth, Preston; Gyle (Marian) Hollingsworth, serving an LDS Mission in Tempe, Ariz.; Kent Hollingsworth, Salt Lake City, Utah; Susan (Jim) Baldwin, Mesa, Ariz.; 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Julia Parker, Heyburn, Idaho; Roma Wilde, Salt Lake City, Utah, and a brother, George (Marie) Wilcox, Preston, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her husband, and by two brothers and two sisters, Perry Lorin Wilcox, Lorraine Stoker, Donna Mecham and Densmore George Wilcox. Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, June 28, 2000, in the Preston 7th Ward Chapel, 155 N. 2nd West in Preston. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Preston Cemetery.
