Conna Faye Atkinson Mitchell, 72, of Boise, Idaho, died Sunday, June 18, 2000, of natural causes. Graveside services were held on Friday, June 23, 2000, at Joplin Cemetery, Boise, Idaho under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, Boise Chapel. Paster Darrell Beddoe will officiate. Conna was born August 5, 1927, at Franklin, Idaho, to Golden and Edythe Hobbs Atkinson. She was the oldest of eight children. Conna was a spirited and colorful woman. She always lived life to the fullest. She was very caring and thoughtful; always remembering those closest to her. She enjoyed retelling life stories to any available ear. She will be dearly missed. Conna was the mother of four children, Michael, Edward, Sandy and Terri. She married Edward Marshman in 1945, later divorcing in 1952. She was married to Jack Dougherty for many years until his death. She found a friend and husband in Eugene Paul Mitchell until his death in 1999. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Michale and Nancy Marshman of Atlanta, GA; a son, Edward Marshman of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Shawn and Edward; three brothers "Red" of Boise, ID, Wallace of Council, ID and Randy of Boise, ID; three sisters, Barbara Reid of Winnsboro, SC, Eda Ray Connolly of Eagle, ID and Joy Hunter of Fernley, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Doris; and her husbands.
