She was born June 3, 1913, at Payson, Utah, to Benjamin Thomas Nichols and Olive Lovenia Booth. She was the eighth of 11 children. She married Clark Alexander Mickelson February 20, 1935, in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple, and they made their home in Lago, Idaho. Helen is survived by three daughters, Helen Lovene and Duane Bitton, Lago, Idaho, Joan and Arlen Meacham, West Valley City, Utah, Ethel and Clayton Brough, West Valley City, Utah; and two sons, Roger Clark and Beverly Mickelson, Lago, Idaho, Willard Harris and Dixie Mickelson, Pocatello, Idaho; and 25 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark, her parents, and all her brothers and sister. Services will be conducted Wednesday, October 25, 2000, at noon in the Niter LDS Williams Ward Chapel. Friends may call on the family this evening, Tuesday, October 24, 2000, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs, and also at the Niter chapel Wednesday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Services are under the direction of the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs.
