Id Obits Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Id/FranklinObits/204 Surname: Wilde, Petersen, Attwood ------------------------- The Herald Journal 09-16-2000 Reo Dee Wilde, 77, a longtime resident of McCammon, passed away late Wednesday evening Sept. 13, 2000, at his home following an extended illness and surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born July 6, 1923, in Mink Creek, Idaho, a son of Oscar Lawrence and Martha Christine Petersen Wilde. He attended schools in Mink Creek. On Aug. 4, 1948, he married Donna Rae Attwood, in Idaho Falls. They lived in Pocatello for many years, where Reo was employed as a transport truck driver through the teamsters union. He drove for Safeways, Consolidated Freightways and retired from Garrett Freightlines in 1983. He had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also took great pride in his ranch near the Portneuf River North of McCammon. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He is survived by his wife Donna Rae Attwood Wilde, McCammon, Idaho; two sons, Lawrence Dee (Leda) Wilde, Pocatello, Idaho, Richard (Vicki) Wilde, McCammon, Idaho; two daughters, Brenda Lee Miller, Yuma, Ariz., Sharon Rae (Ivan) Bloxham, Chubbuck, Idaho; a brother, Cloyd Wilde, Preston, Idaho; four sisters, June (Alma) Austin, Salt Lake City, Utah, Dottie Casperson, Preston, Idaho, Betty Lou (Albert) Erramouspe, Groveland, Idaho, Dixie Rae (Wayne) Bennett, Pingree, Idaho; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, an infant son, a grandson and a granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000 at the McCammon LDS Stake Center with Bishop Dean Morris of the Marsh Creek Ward officiating. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery with military graveside rites provided by the McCammon VFW Post 7075, Bill Murphy, Commander. The family will receive friends today from noon to 12:45 at the church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave., Pocatello, ID.
