Our beloved mother and grandmother passed peacefully with many of her children by her side. She will be missed greatly. She was born on June 3, 1915 in Whitney, Idaho to a family of 11 children. She loved life and lived it to it's fullest. She attended Utah State, then served an LDS mission to Canada. While on her mission she met Elder Maughan. June married Kenneth Lloyd Maughan in the Logan Temple on March 11, 1939. They were happily married 46 years. Southern California was their home for 37 years. June moved to Salt Lake after the death of Kenneth in 1985. One of her many joys was to see 23 of her posterity serve missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. June served two additional missions with her husband in Australia. She served faithfully in all callings. Completing her history and gathering her genealogy was her greatest delight. She loved the Lord, and she has endured to the end. She will be missed dearly. She leaves a legacy of righteous living, filled with sacrifice, love, and service. She is survived by her children, Maureen Totland (Gary), Koreen Kieffer (Bud), Judy Norton (Arlen), Bobbie Allen (Rod), Jeneal Olson (John), Kenneth Maughan (Gwenda), Chad Maughan (Marsha) and Lillian Ning (Andy). Her husband, Kenneth L. Maughan; a sister, Ada Porter. A brother, J. Cleo Chadwick preceded her in death. A viewing will be held Friday night at 7-9 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial, 3115 E. 7800 So. (Bengal Blvd) and Sat., 10:30-ll:30 am at Little Cottonwood Ward, 6350 S. Rodeo Ln. (1545 E.) followed by funeral services at 12:00 noon. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Cemetery.
